FYN treats your budgeting data like a personal journal. We only collect what is required to provide the service and we never sell, rent, or train AI models on your transactions.

Information we collect

• Account details you share directly (name, email, household context).
• Budget data you create inside FYN (envelopes, categories, notes).
• Bank connection metadata routed through our aggregation partner; we never see full credentials.

How we use the data

• Operate and personalize your FYN workspace.
• Provide human support when you email sashreek@unspiral.org.
• Generate anonymized, aggregate insights to improve the product roadmap.

Storage & retention

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. You can request a full export or deletion at any time by emailing sashreek@unspiral.org. We remove all records within 30 days of a confirmed deletion request.
